In fact I migth be interested in the heavier version (Rapha Classic Jacket, I suppose). But I just can’t find find its weight. I guess it’s rather heavy, othervise they wouldn’t be so hesitant to announce it.

It’s nice to get a comment from you as I’ve enjoyed reading your website and crazyguyonabike posts. The Stowaway is a “cycling fit” I’d say. That is it’s snug. Take a look at the pictures on the Rapha site http://www.rapha.cc/stowaway-jacket-09/ and you’ll see that it fits close to the body. If you are between sizes I’d go up a size so you can layer underneath. The jacket is very lightweight and works well in combination with some Merino wool on a cold morning. You might be interested in the new rain jacket Rapha is introducing this autumn. It’s a heavier version of the Stowaway.

your review made me interested in this jacket (I am still seaching for the perfect formula for rain). My measurements show that I am right in between L and XL sizes. From your experience are these jackets more on the tight or loose side? If I choose L and have to wear warm long-sleeved top under the jacket, would that be too tight?
